THE HARVEST IS NOW

DECEMBER 11, 2025

Say not ye, There are yet four months,

and then cometh harvest? behold, I say

unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on

the fields; for they are white already to

harvest (John 4:35)

The Lord Jesus corrected a mindset in His disciples

that still persists in some people today—the idea

that the harvest is in the future. But the harvest is now. The

fields are ripe for harvest. Ponder again the words of the

Master; He said, “Lift up your eyes...the fields are already

white!” In other words, the time to act is now.

There are people all around you who are ready to

receive the Gospel. They may not look it. They may not

act like it. But in their hearts, they’re searching, yearning,

and waiting for God’s truth. It reminds of what the Bible

says in Romans 8:19, “For the earnest expectation of

the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons

of God.”

You’re the one they’re waiting for to bring them into the

liberty of the sons of God. You’re the one to deliver them

from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto

God (Acts 26:18). Don’t assume people aren’t interested

in the Gospel; many are simply waiting for someone to

expound it to them. That someone is you. They’re waiting to

see, hear, and experience the love, grace and compassion

of Christ through you.

When you lift your eyes with the Spirit’s insight, you’ll

see opportunities in your school, office, family, community,

city, town, village, and even online to spread the message

of the Gospel and impact many lives with the love of Christ.

The harvest is right where you are. So, be available, be

sensitive. The harvest isn’t only ripe, it’s urgent, and the

time to reap is now!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for opening my eyes to see the

harvest around me. I respond with love, faith, boldness

and compassion to this challenge of the harvest, taking

my place as a faithful labourer in your field, bringing

many to salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
