THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD

DECEMBER 3, 2025

...to testify the gospel of the grace of

God (Acts 20:24).

Blessed be God! The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not

a religious message; it’s the good news of God's

grace. It’s the announcement of His love, His favour, and

His kindness toward humanity. The Apostle Paul described

his entire ministry as being focused on one central

message: preaching the Gospel of the grace of God.

This same Gospel was first preached to Abraham.

Galatians 3:8 says, “And the scripture...preached before

the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all

nations be blessed.” That blessing was not just material;

it was the promise of the Spirit and the outpouring of God’s

goodness. It was grace in prophetic form.

The Hebrew word for this covenant grace is “hesed”,

a term that describes God’s lovingkindness, mercy, and

unchanging favour. It’s what David spoke of when he asked,

“...Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that

I may shew him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” (2

Samuel 9:1). That was “hesed”, grace on covenant terms.

Through Jesus Christ, this grace has now been poured out

upon all humanity for anyone who believes.

Ephesians 2:8 says, “For by grace are ye saved

through faith....” The Gospel brought salvation, health and

healing, deliverance and righteousness, not because we

deserved it, but because God is good. His goodness leads

men to repentance (Romans 2:4). This is the message we

carry: that God loves the world, and He gave His Son so

that everyone who believes might have eternal life.

The Gospel of grace is not about condemnation; it’s

about justification. It’s about lifting the fallen and calling the

lost into a glorious inheritance. No wonder in Acts 20:32

the Bible says, “And now, brethren, I commend you

to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to

build you up, and to give you an inheritance among

all them which are sanctified.”

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the blessed Gospel of your

grace which is committed to my trust. I preach it boldly

and passionately as a dispenser of your lovingkindness,

a messenger of your mercy, and a witness of your

salvation. I walk in the fullness of the grace and blessings

of the Gospel, as I share it boldly with others, in Jesus’

Name. Amen.
